DEEP PURPLE: 'Stormbringer' Reissue Enters U.K. 'Rock Albums' Chart At No. 2

DEEP PURPLE's "Stormbringer" album, originally released in 1974, has been re-released for its 35th anniversary in a remastered and remixed version. Former PURPLE bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes contributed to the remixes.

The re-release, in the works since 2006, was overseen by EMI and DPAS (Deep Purple Appreciation Society). It landed at No. 2 on the BBC Top 40 Rock Albums chart.

Three versions of the reissue are available: double disc (CD+DVD),double vinyl and single CD. They can be ordered from the DPAS online shop, along with the original 1974 USA tour t-shirt and with a limited poster.
